Nabiac Borefield Stage 2B Watermain Upgrade

Trazlbat delivered the Nabiac Borefield Stage 2B Watermain Upgrade, comprising the supply and installation of approximately 5.5 kilometres of DN375 and DN200 PVC pipelines. The project was undertaken to increase existing water supply capacity and improve the reliability and performance of the regional borefield network.

The works formed part of a broader augmentation of the local water supply system, requiring careful coordination with multiple stakeholders, staged tie-ins to live infrastructure, and strict environmental management due to the sensitive nature of the surrounding area.

Scope of Works

• Supply and installation of approximately 5,500 metres of DN375 and DN200 PVC watermain.
• Excavation, trenching, bedding, pipe laying, jointing, backfilling, and compaction of watermain corridors.
• Multiple connections to existing borefield infrastructure and live watermain assets.
• Staged integration of new pipelines into the existing water supply network.
• Pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning of the completed watermain system.
• Protection of existing assets and environmental controls throughout construction.
• Site reinstatement and rehabilitation of all disturbed areas following completion.
