Western Downs Watermain Upgrade

Trazlbat was responsible for the design, construction, testing, and commissioning of approximately 1,870 m of DN100 PVC-M PN16 water main pipeline across Chinchilla and Tara. The works include obtaining all required approvals and permits, locating and protecting existing utilities, crossing roads, driveways and private accesses, reinstating disturbed infrastructure, revegetating affected areas, and undertaking pressure testing, swabbing, flushing and disinfection of the pipelines.

The scope of works also included installation of the associated hydrants, valves, property service connections, live connections, road crossings, and provisional items, with construction to be undertaken in a manner that minimises disruption to the environment, utility providers, and the community.
