Cootamundra SPS Rising Main Replacement

The works comprised the construction, testing, commissioning, and handover of approximately 2.37 km of DN450 PE100 PN16 sewer rising main, delivered through a combination of open trenching and trenchless installation methods.

Key scope elements included:
• Open trench installation of DN450 HDPE rising main in non-traffic and road reserve areas
• Trenchless underboring beneath major road crossings and constrained locations
• Installation of air valves, scour valves, tees, thrust restraints, and concrete anchor blocks
• Construction of a new flow meter pit
• Live connection works at:
o Betts Street SPS
o Cootamundra Sewage Treatment Plant inlet works
• Hydrostatic pressure testing, compaction testing, and commissioning
• Preparation of Work-As-Executed (WAE) drawings and post-construction survey
