Parkes Watermain Replacement

This project involved the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a new DN150 PVC water main, including the construction of all associated property connections along Waratah Street, Parkes. The works were delivered in accordance with WSAA standards and Parkes Shire Council requirements to improve the reliability and performance of the local water distribution network.

Scope of Works

• Design of a new DN150 PVC water main along Waratah Street in accordance with WSAA standards and Parkes Shire Council design requirements.
• Supply and installation of approximately 280 metres of DN150 PVC water main.
• Construction of 11 new property service connections.
• Installation of associated fittings, valves, and ancillary infrastructure.
• Pressure testing, disinfection, commissioning, and connection of the new water main to the existing network.
• Site restoration and reinstatement of all disturbed areas upon completion.
