PROJECT OVERVIEW

This project involves the renewal of aging water supply infrastructure in Gulgong to enhance the quality and reliability of drinking water delivery. The works comprise two separable water main renewal sections along Bligh Street and Prince Street, executed under a lump sum contract arrangement. The project will deliver upgraded potable water networks with modern PVC infrastructure, complete with associated hydrants, valves, and service connections to ensure improved water supply performance for the local community.

 

Scope of Works:

Installation of approximately 500m of 100mm PVC potable water main with
associated infrastructure including hydrants, valves, and service connections.

 

Project Challenges and Risks:

Underground utilities

Unknown condition of existing services

Live network integration while minimising disturbance to residents.
